Bamboo Fabric

regenerated

Also known as: Bamboo viscose, Bambus, Bambou

Regenerated cellulose from bamboo. Soft, antibacterial and marketed as eco-friendly.

About Bamboo Fabric

Bamboo fabric is most commonly a regenerated cellulose fibre (bamboo viscose) made from bamboo pulp using the viscose process. While bamboo itself is a very sustainable plant (fast-growing, no pesticides needed), the viscose production process involves chemicals. True mechanically-processed bamboo linen is more sustainable but rare. Bamboo fabric is soft, breathable, and has natural antibacterial properties.
