About Canvas

Canvas is a plain-woven fabric known for its durability and heaviness. Traditionally made from hemp or linen, modern canvas is usually cotton or a cotton-polyester blend. It is used for sails, tents, bags, shoes, and as a painting surface. Duck canvas is a lighter, finer version. Canvas can be waxed or treated for water resistance.
