Satin

woven

Also known as: Satin, Satin weave, Атлас

Smooth, lustrous weave structure. Can be made from silk, polyester or other fibres.

About Satin

Satin is not a fibre but a weave structure characterised by a smooth, lustrous surface and a dull back. The satin weave has long floating threads on the surface that create the characteristic sheen. Satin can be made from silk (the most luxurious), polyester (most common and affordable), acetate, or nylon. The properties of satin fabric depend largely on the fibre used.
