About Terry Cloth

Terry cloth (or terrycloth) is a fabric with loops of thread that can absorb large amounts of water. It is most commonly made from cotton. The loops can be on one side (single-sided terry) or both sides (double-sided terry). Terry cloth is used primarily in towels, bathrobes, and beach wear. The density and loop height determine absorbency.
