Natural animal fibre from sheep. Excellent thermal insulation, moisture management and natural fire resistance.
About Wool
Wool is a natural protein fibre obtained from sheep and other animals. It is one of the oldest textile fibres used by humans, valued for its exceptional thermal insulation, moisture management, and natural fire resistance. Wool fibres have a unique scaly structure that allows them to absorb and release moisture without feeling wet, making wool comfortable across a wide range of temperatures. Australia is the world's largest producer of wool, followed by China, New Zealand, and Argentina. Merino wool, from Merino sheep, is particularly prized for its fineness and softness.
